A Month In Pictures

This was my favorite photoshoot this month. Not only did I have the privilege of taking this amazing families picture-BUT-we also got interrupted by the owner of the field who was very nice and whose family, (the Barnette's) have been out their for generations. He asked me to take some shots of the field and I asked him to get in a few of the shots too. He was a character, and it was fun meeting him and taking his picture. When I find what did with those images of him...I will post them. :)

EL Tour! Jared rode all 109 miles and raised $650.00 for Tu Nudito. He is incredible.

This my favorite shot from El Tour. I was experimenting with panning. I panned too fast and shuttered to slow and the result was this image, and I really like it.

Rappelling with the kids and the Webers on Mt. Lemon the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Boston Baby!

I love flying...

*Note to self...invest in a wide angle lens...

Really?....That's it? That's the site of the Boston Massacre? That little circle of stones in the middle of the intersection? Huh...

Benjamin Franklins parents were buried here.

Yep, this is where Mother Goose was buried.

Jared: So, a rep from Questcor left me a message today to see if I would be interested in going to Boston for a day to be on an advisory board. LOL Want to go to Boston?...

Me: Seriously Jared?... Don't play with me....

Jared: I can call her back and get the details if you want.

Me: Uh, Yeah!!!!

For the rest of the afternoon I sang, I danced, and I dreamt Bostonian dreams... I had never been to New England and the prospect of a little adventure was almost to much to bear. So when Jared came home and told me they were even going to pay him an honorarium that would more than pay for my flight I did a little happy dance and finished zipping up my already packed overnight bag.

Jared and I flew to Boston Friday morning got there late in the afternoon and left the next afternoon. It was a quick trip-but very fun. Though Jared was in his meeting from 7:00am-3:00 (our plane left at 4:30) I got to explore Boston for the day.

I ate expensive toast, rode trolleys, got cold, got warmed by a cup of clam chowder at a oyster bar that also happened to be the oldest restaurant in the US, got lost, found my way, discovered amazing old cemeteries, strolled a beautiful park, and just enjoyed being in a great historical American city. The architecture is awe inspiring, the history alive and the shopping looked very fun, but I was to preoccupied with the outside to go inside. :)
